'Clinico - epidemiological profile of lung cancer in north India and its association with quantified
tobacco smoking'.
Dr. Singh's work on lung cancer focuses on molecular biology, epidemiology, symptom
assessment using simple scoring systems and management in resource constrained settings. His
work demonstrated geographical diversity in the epidemiological profile of lung cancer within India
and also that there are several differences from developed countries. Quantified tobacco smoke
exposure has a significant and important association with the clinical profile of lung cancer patients
at diagnosis.
